Each unit comes with a warranty registration form that should be completed and submitted to Natural Light in order to receive the warranty benefits. Residential Models Qualify For Solar Tax Credits
In order to qualify for tax credits as defined in the Emergency Stabilization Act, the solar attic fan must have been placed in service on your home on June 1, 2009 through December 31, 2016. Additionally, the solar attic fan must have been properly installed meeting all applicable building, electrical and fire codes. Residential models may also qualify for local and state solar and utility credits.
Claiming Your Tax Credit
To assist with claiming a tax credit, Natural Light has provided a Statement of Certification for homeowners. Please download and complete the form and keep it with your tax records. The Statement of Certification is not required to be filed with the your forms, but income tax regulations require taxpayers to have appropriate documentation to qualify for a tax credit.
